Doors - French

French Doors
French doors are hinged, adjoining doors that are inlaid with glass, and usually installed as a pair using a common door frame. Interior uses were more common in older homes – but with today's insulated glass, designers often use them as an attractive alternative to sliding glass doors. An attractive option is adding muntins or internal grids to give a “Georgian look” These grids are placed in between two sheets of glass to ensure ease of cleaning the glass. There are a wide range of handles and locksets available for French Doors in a large selection of materials and finishes.
