Bi-Fold Doors
Originally designed for closets and pantries, Bifold doors are space savers and with modern engineering techniques are now used extensively as a means of creating seamless indoor/outdoor living areas. Doors fold in pairs to one side, either inside or out, and are stacked creating an extensive opening. The stacking doors can all go one way or can be split to stack on both sides of the opening. A swing door can be combined in the unit to provide a single opening when the remaining doors can be left securely closed. Bi-Fold doors are suspended by an overhead track alleviating the need for any rail at floor level and, unless water penetration could be an issue, they don’t even require a threshold.
The Bi-Fold doors supplied by Discount Windows & Doors are manufactured by Architectural Glazing Systems Inc and come with a 25 year warranty.
