Awnings
Awnings are “top hung” or hinged from the top and open out away from the home by means of a crank handle allowing virtually 100% ventilation. The advantage of awnings is that they provide shelter to the opening minimizing or eliminating any rain from penetrating the home. Awnings can be manufactured individually or as a multi opening unit where many single awnings are joined together in a single window frame allowing multiple venting options. All awnings are supplied with stainless steel hardware and heavy duty fiberglass screens – a necessity in Hawaii’s tropical, marine environment. Dual operator arms and locks pull the sash tight, while dual compression seals ensure weather resistance.
